3.1.6.11. Custom Fields

In this menu, we can create Custom fields to expand CMDB objects (network devices, user devices, etc.) and attributes. These custom fields can be used by the product to expand functionalities.

To add a new field, click the Add new button. A pop-up window will appear where you can select the type of the new field (network device, user device or all CMDB objects).

Once the new fields are created, these can be displayed and we can associate a value to them at different CMDB Objects in the custom parameters fields. For example, by creating a new network device, we would be able to add these custom parameters in the custom fields section.
