3.1.3.1.2. Default Business Profiles

When OpenNAC Enterprise is first deployed, on the ON NAC > Business Profiles we can see some Business Profiles Groups already created by default: EPT View, Default View, and Locations View.

3.1.3.1.2.1. EPT view

The EPT view is one of the default Business Profiles Groups. This view does not allow customization.

In the EPT View, we will see the OpenNAC events classified by their Endpoint Type (EPT):

  • Desktop

  • Mobile

  • Printer

  • Camera

  • Iot

  • etc

3.1.3.1.2.2. Default view

Another default Business Profiles Group is the Default view.

At first, we will see the visible devices unassigned. There is no limitation to creating as many Business Profiles as needed to group OpenNAC events. Remember that these events are generated by policy matching.

3.1.3.1.2.3. Locations view

The last default Business Profiles Group is the Locations view.

As we can see, this Business Profiles Group allows to search events by location, thanks to the Location Tags:

  • Country: Tags started with LCO_*

  • City: Tags started with LCI_*

  • Building: Tags started with LBD_*

  • Floor: Tags started with LFL_*

  • Misc: Tags started with LMI_*

After inserting the desired tags for your location search, click on Apply to visualize the results.
