3.1.8. ON Agent
The openNAC ON Agent module allows managing the agent users and settings.

Before performing any configuration task, it is important to understand the terminology related to the ON Agent module and its corresponding concepts, representing levels of configuration and customization:
Agent Profiles: This is where the different agent profiling types are listed. The different profiles can be edited and new ones can be added.
Agent scripts: This is where agent scripts are defined. Scripts would be executed on the agent assigning them to an agent profile.
Agent Configuration: This allows the agents to download and parser configuration, configure the required patches, the windows agent rules, and the multiplatform agent rules.
Agent payload timeline: The last payload received from all the devices will be in this section. It contains information of the source and the agent version.
Agent Log: All the payloads sent and received on the agent will be in this section. It contains the information of the source and the agent version.
