There are common asynchronous tasks that needs to be carried out by openNAC technologies, for instance plugins execution need it. These queues publish these tasks, the workers register itself in a queue and carry out the tasks. Queues runs on openNAC core along with openNAC workers. By default are created 5 queues as shown by the Step 2.
In case is required to have a lot of plugins configured deployed in multiples policies and also openNAC Core is receiving big amount of DHCP IP Helper data is possible the require additional workers, going to Status -> Trending as shown by Step 3 is possible to view the workers use and its queues as shown by dashboard and by Step 4.
Remember that any performance issue with openNAC platform can be investigated at Status -> Trending, all its components and subcomponents are being monitored and tracked up to 1 Year.
