3.2.2.1. System Data

System Data works as a configuration management section.

It features the following assets:

• User devices: Endpoint devices such as computers, mobile devices, and printers.

• VLANs: List of VLANs registered in OpenNAC Enterprise and used within the policies to perform segmentation among other uses.

• LDAP/AD Filters: Filters to perform searches on an LDAP/AD directory to verify membership of groups and organizational units.

• User data sources: Allows the use identities in the authorization process, AD attributes are used to be part of the authorization process.

• Security: In this section you can define profiles and security objects such as users, roles, and ACLs to enable us to define different user roles. You can then configure these roles with access permissions and API Key management, among other features.
