2.2.3. Deployment Validation
This section will guide you through a series of checks to validate the proper deployment and expected functioning of your new OpenNAC Enterprise environment.
2.2.3.1. Administration Portal
Right after the deployment of your nodes has finished, try to access the Administration Portal by opening your favorite browser and typing: https://<ON_Principal_ip_management>/admin
You should be able to log in using your default credentials.
2.2.3.2. Healthchecks
Once you are logged in, you will be able to visualize the internal service monitoring feature called Healthcheck. This feature shows the current status of OpenNAC Services in all the nodes of the environment.
Navigate to the Healthcheck dropdown and click on “See the full status of the components”.

You should expect most of the services to display an “OK” status, but there are a few exceptions. Some services still need to be manually started, configured, etc.
BACKUP: You can ignore its error status in all nodes.
ON Core services error that can be ignored: WINDBIND, NTLM, AD_DOMAIN_MEMBER.
ON VPNGW services error that can be ignored: SHOREWALL
