2.8.2. Agent VPN
There are two possible types of VPN to configure on the agent: OpenVPN and WireGuard.
2.8.2.1. OpenVPN
VPN Agent configuration is based on the OpenNAC Enterprise Agent. To define the OpenVPN connection profiles, go to ON Agent -> Agent VPN -> OpenVPN in the Web administration portal.
In the column called Configuration there is a lens icon that shows the configuration of the VPN connection.
Click on the Add new button and fill in the following fields:
Name: The name of the VPN connection that will be shown to the client.
Configuration: The configuration file that is compatible with OpenVPN.
Enabled: If this configuration is enabled or not.
Description: A description of the VPN connection.
After clicking on accept, the next time the Agent communicates with the ON Core, it will download the VPN connection information. Also, as soon as the OpenNAC Enterprise Agent connects with ON Core, the Agent will download the configuration updated.
2.8.2.2. Wireguard
VPN Agent configuration is based on the OpenNAC Enterprise Agent. To define the WireGuard connection profiles go to ON Agent -> Agent VPN -> WireGuard in the Web administration portal.
In the column called Configuration there is a lens icon that shows the configuration of the VPN connection.

Click on the Add new button and fill in the following fields:
Name: The name of the VPN connection that will be shown to the client.
Configuration: The configuration file that is compatible with Wireguard.
Enabled: If this configuration is enabled or not.
Description: A description of the VPN connection.
After clicking on accept, the next time the agent communicates with the ON Core, it will download the VPN connection information. Also, as soon as the OpenNAC Enterprise Agent connects with the ON Core, the agent will download the configuration updated.
