Business Profiles Columns Visualization

As openNAC user you can customize the columns view in the openNAC console for the next sections:

  • ON NAC –> Business Profiles
  • ON CMDB –> User Devices
  • ON CMDB –> Network Devices

Go to ON NAC –> Business Profiles –> Default View. As we can see in the below image, the default columns that are shown in the Business Profiles screen are MAC, IP, SSID, Hostname, User, Last access, Policy, Source, Status and Tags.

If we click in the “+” box at the end of the row, we will see the detail of each connection.

Alongside each field name, we have a table drawing, if we click in it, we can enable/disable this field to be shown in our columns.

Automatically, when clicking, a green box will spawn with the message “View saved. Go to user settings if you want to restore the default configuration.”, as shown below:

This way, we can edit the columns visualization as we please, automatically having it saved for the logged user.

The least columns we can have are MAC, Policy and Status.

If we want to restore the default column set, we just need to click on the user (upper right corner of the screen) and click in Settings.

Inside the “Settings” screen, we can click in “Restore defaults” and the default column set will be reset.

Surely, after doing this, you need to close the Business Profile screen and open it again.

Also openNAC users can add new columns by the same procedure into ON CMDB –> User Devices and ON CMDB –> Network Devices.
